I’ve worked in the event planning field since before graduating from St. John Fisher College in Rochester, New York. I’ve been happily amping up my professional resume ever since; gaining experience in weddings, special events, corporate events, promotions, non-profit and fundraising events. With a creative eye and a determined mind, I love watching events come to life. Helping people turn their visions into a fabulous party is my calling.
Combining my love of weddings and events with my passion for writing, my MNW blog was born back in 2013. With a growing audience, I added my VirtualMOH feature, which allows me to work with brides electronically – giving them one on one guidance when they don’t need a coordinator, but still have unanswered questions about wedding planning.
Since the spring of 2015, I’ve been working full-time for myself, doing business as Mrs. Newman’s Weddings, LLC, devoting my days to blogging and consulting – and I love it! When I’m not working on MNW, I’m usually cuddled up at home with my husband, dog, and cat. Depending on the time of day, you’ll usually find me with a cup of coffee (mornings), having a spontaneous kitchen dance party (afternoons), or indulging in a nice glass of wine (evenings).
